Michele Amoroso, OTR/L
Our Staff
Michele Amoroso is a Senior Therapist
at SPOTS and has been part of the
SPOTS family since 2004. Michele
earned a Bachelor’s Degree in
Communication from the University of
Delaware, before graduating from New
York University with a Master’s Degree in
Occupational Therapy.

She has worked in a variety of pediatric
settings including Early Intervention,
preschools, elementary schools, and
sensory gyms. She has advanced
training in Sensory Integration,
Handwriting Without Tears, Reflex
Integration, The Alert Program, Astronaut
Training, and Therapeutic Listening.

When not at SPOTS, Michele is busy
managing the busy social calendars of
her 2 young daughters, Julia and Leila.
She has recently taken up tennis and is
currently training for her first half-
marathon. She lives in Park Slope,
Brooklyn.
