Levitt's Story

Finding Strength through Support

When Levitt was diagnosed with dyslexia in fourth grade, reading presented unique challenges.

Unlike the common perception of mixing up letters, his eyes often skipped over words, making it difficult to process information and stay engaged with reading.

Alongside school and after-school tutoring, Levitt attended SPOTS, where he worked on visual motor processing, spatial awareness, gross motor skills, and fine motor development. What stands out most in his memory is that the experience never felt like work.

Through repetition, encouragement, and hands-on learning, Levitt developed skills that once felt impossible. He improved both gross motor skills, such as running and other large muscle activities, and fine motor skills, including handwriting and everyday tasks like buttoning clothing.

Today, he credits many of his strengths to the support and dedication of the SPOTS team.

"I didn't ever think of what I did at SPOTS as work because it was always presented in the form of fun activities."

Levitt's Story

From Reader to Writer

Although reading was challenging as a child, creativity became a powerful outlet.

Today, Levitt is the author of the Tales from Palaleon series and continues to expand his passion for storytelling through new creative projects. He is currently working with Jasami Publishing and Productions on a new story universe called Crystal GO.

The series begins with a coloring book launching on June 17, 2026, followed by three books, including a novella scheduled for release in October 2026. A companion card game is also currently in development.

His goal is to create stories that are accessible for readers with attention and learning challenges while still offering meaningful ideas and engaging adventures.
